The Atlanta real estate market is continuing its steady climb, and active adult homes have been a large part of the new construction that is underway across the metro area. According to a recent article in KNOW Atlanta magazine, the metro Atlanta area is one of the top places to retire.

According to Block, many of the new homeowners have chosen to finish the basements in their home, providing them with extra living space that is perfect for a media room, additional guest bedroom and activity or party rooms. The basement home designs at The Orchards of East Cherokee are priced from the low $300,000s.
