The Orchards Group Continues to Break Sales Records in September

The Orchards Group is pleased to announce that they have continued to break sales records this year with the closing of eight new metro Atlanta active adult homes in the month of September.

The Orchards of East Cherokee in Hickory Flat and The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm in Cumming each saw four home closings last month. As further evidence that the Atlanta real estate market has made drastic improvements over the last 18 to 24 months, six of the new home buyers were current metro Atlanta residents.

“When we were in the depths of the recession, 75 percent of our new homeowners were moving in from out of state,” said Mitch Block, director of sales and marketing for The Orchards Group. “The local prospective buyers simply could not sell their existing homes, which was necessary for them to be able to buy new homes.”

The improved Atlanta resale market has contributed to TheOrchards Group’s recent sales success, because they can sell to home buyers in the local active adult market, as they are now able to sell their home.
